I went on a great hike yesterday with three Labradors in the mountains of Northern Jersey. The ground was crunchy, the creeks were starting to ice over, and the air turned your nose and ears red. The mountains are covered with boulders and creeks that lead to small, but deep pools. The dogs had a great time sprinting through the woods and I got to break in my new hiking shoes from Northface.
